2011 Conference Lodging & Travel

Living Economies 2011 was held at Western Washington University
in Bellingham, Washington June 15-17, 2011, with pre-conference
events beginning June 14.
Conference Lodging
There were two options for housing: dorm-style suites and hotel rooms.
Our most affordable and convenient option, located at the conference site with easy walking and bus access to downtown! Attendees stayed in dorm-style rooms on Western's campus in the Buchanan Towers and the Fairhaven Complex. Rooms with either one or two beds within a two-bedroom suite were available. Each suite has a shared bathroom and common area. Kitchenettes were available in some suites or on select floors for use by multiple suites. The rooms were internet-ready if you provide your own ethernet cables. Parking passes ($10/day, $31/wk), recreation center passes ($7), and campus-wide wireless internet access ($5) were available for purchase on-site.
